Back from my Trip

Hello World.
I was on vacations with my family. I couldn't refresh this blog 'til today.
I'm going to show a couple of pictures, not from Juarez, but from the state Juarez belongs, Chihuahua. Our state have a good deal of the Sierra Madre, a chain of mountains that go from southern USA down several states into Mexico.
This is the great Cusarare waterfall. Cusarare means Place of Eagles or Where Eagles Fly, in the ancient raramuri language. The raramuris are one of the native groups of the Chihuahuan mountains.
The rainings in the last months have loaded this great waterfall with more water than it was in the past several years. It is now showing a good looking fall.

At the watefall pit, you can sense the breeze in your body. You can rejuvenate in their mists. Years before, you can even wash at the foot of the waterfall... no more. The strenght of the water falling can kill you. But the breeze is there for you... and expect a good wash!
More to come from my trip thru the greatest state of Mexico... Chihuahua.

Storm over Juarez

I love rain. I specially love heacy raining.
Maybe in a place like Juarez, you won't find much rain. But we have our seasons.
Juarez is in the middle of the Chihuahuan desert, so raining is highly appreciated here. At least I, me and myself.
This is the biulding where I work. Raindrops are already washing the windows outside.
Once we were in El Paso in a heavy rain, and a woman mentioned "oh, what a rain!" And other young woman said "Rain? You should go to Seattle... that's rain!"
I hope to visit Seattle soon.

Juarez, Biggest Border in the World

This blog will take the best thing about a great city. Juarez, Mexico.
My wife and I decided to begin with this blog because Juarez is a good place to live, and it has everything for a family to live a modern life, without loosing things like values. And it´s still growing. Regardless of the bad publicity Juarez has, it is a great city. If you come to Juarez, you will find friendly people, great places to go, and a warm welcoming.
Juarez is a border city with El Paso, Texas, USA. Have about 1.5 million souls living in it; but about 2.3 million if you take Juarez-El Paso as one entity. In fact, the two cities are separated by a once big and brave river, Rio Bravo for mexicans, Rio Grande for americans.
In this blog, we will be posting mainly photos of different corners of this city. Please, take some time to post your comments.
This photo depicts a beautiful theme. It´s called UNTAMED. It was made by one of our great local artists. You can say that studying this monument, you will find the strenght to keep on going to achieve your dreams, and the dreams for your family, as the horses form a little pack... a family maybe? It´s about half a mile the border crossing bridge of the Americas.
